Small Business Management Services (SBMS) was created to help small to medium sized businesses with turnovers from start up to £5m. We specialise in businesses where owners are grappling with the problems and challenges of growth or recovery and need help in the form of experienced, hands on consultants. SBMS people are approachable and rapidly understand the issues. They know what to do because they have most likely implemented the solutions successfully elsewhere.
It may be that the customer needs financial help as well as strategic help, or assistance with implementing a project during a period of exceptional activity. Often we are called upon to handle a personnel problem, disciplinary or recruitment.
Frequently we hear a customer complain bitterly about the huge amount of time put in to their business for a small or shrinking profit. The business is taking more and more of their lives for an unsatisfactory return. We have an established track record of addressing this problem: improving profits and releasing personal time.
